The County recognizes the need to accommodate the existing and future travel demands for Charleston International Airport (CHS) and address increased traffic congestion as the local and regional area continues to develop, bringing both new employment opportunities and population growth.

 

The purpose of this project is to separate airport and commuter traffic from Boeing traffic while improving mobility and operations of local roadways within the project study area.
