Based on data gathered from traffic studies, the project team developed 8 alternatives called the “Preliminary Range of Alternatives." The preliminary alternatives consist of 4 alternatives for the ACR and 4 alternatives for the new interchange at I-526 and West Montague Avenue. 

 

The project team has further evaluated these preliminary alternatives based on each alternative's ability to meet the project purpose and need along with preliminary screening of environmental impacts.

 

However, any comments provided during this public information meeting comment period regarding the preliminary alternatives will be considered by the project team in confirming the project team's findings and ultimately toward the selection of the recommended preferred alternative.
